Amanda Vogt doesn’t just lead Guide Book Publishing; she grew up within its mission. Joining the team at age 16, Amanda has spent over two decades witnessing the vital link between a congregation and the local businesses that support it.
With an MBA in Marketing and a background in Accounting, Amanda brings a unique “whole-picture” perspective to the industry. She specializes in bridging the generational gap—ensuring that as technology evolves, the older generations who built our faith communities are never left behind. “I’ve seen churches move entirely online, only to return to print because they missed the tangible connection and decline in engagement,” Amanda notes. “Our mission is to ensure every member, regardless of their comfort with technology, has a physical, accessible resource in their hands.”
Amanda’s leadership is guided by the motto: “God first, others second, I’m third.” This servant-leadership extends to her 15+ years of national leadership with Scouting America, where she served as the National Venturing President and currently chairs the Social Media & Virtual Events Team for the National Religious Relationships Committee.
A passionate advocate for accessibility and well-being, Amanda manages the challenges of POTS with the same resilience she brings to business. Whether she is mentoring youth leaders, kayaking for a moment of peace in nature, or volunteering at church camp, she remains dedicated to reaching people exactly where they are.
