Katie Garcia is the practical force that keeps Guide Book Publishing moving. As Administrative Manager, she serves as the central hub for our sales representatives across 25 states, ensuring that distance never feels like a barrier. Katie’s philosophy is simple: be a “before the end of the day” responder. She understands the high-stakes, two-week windows our reps operate in and prioritizes their needs to ensure they can stay focused on what they do best: serving our churches and advertisers.
Within our secure, offline home office, Katie is the “queen of coordination,” utilizing a mix of meticulous digital calendars and a legendary system of Post-it notes and highlighters to keep every project on track. She plays a vital role in GBP’s culture of accuracy, fostering a “cross-proof” environment where everyone—from the admin team to the executive partners—reviews each other’s work to ensure every phone number and address is perfect.
To the leadership team, Katie is the “get it done” logistics expert. She acts as a sounding board for new initiatives, always viewing them through the lens of how they will affect the daily lives of our reps. Whether she is solving a complex “accounts receivable puzzle” to help a rep reach their next bonus level or celebrating a personal victory like a new grandkid or a well-deserved vacation, Katie’s focus remains on the people behind the numbers.
Outside the office, Katie recharges by spending time outdoors and enjoying life with her family and her pets. Her goal is to ensure that every first contact a church or advertiser has with GBP is professional, helpful, and precisely coordinated.
